Society for Adaptive Organisations Launches Qualified Product Management - I Certification

MUNICH, January 2026 – The Society for Adaptive Organisations (SfAO) today announced the launch of Qualified Product Management - I (QPM-I), a new professional certification that equips product managers with the skills to support adaptive organisations through modern product management practices.

The QPM-I certification offers a comprehensive foundation for professionals seeking to support faster iterative cycles and create products that genuinely meet customer needs. The programme covers the fundamentals of the product management lifecycle, from user research and market discovery through to launch and growth strategies.

Participants learn practical techniques for identifying unmet customer needs, crafting compelling product visions, prioritising effectively, and leveraging data to guide product decisions. The curriculum enables product managers to keep their organisations responsive to changing market demands.

A Pathway to Adaptability The QPM-I certification recognises that organisations can achieve adaptability through multiple pathways. For organisations that wish to become more adaptive without necessarily implementing a full agile framework, a sound product management methodology provides a powerful route to responsiveness and customer focus. QPM-I sits alongside the Society’s agile-focused certifications, offering an alternative pathway for professionals and organisations pursuing adaptability.
