Module 1: Scrum Values as a Lever for High-Performance Teams
Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:
- Analyse the importance of Scrum values for high-performing teams and cross-team collaboration – and evaluate their effectiveness in scaled environments.
- Develop and reflect on measures to promote Scrum values in daily work and multi-team contexts.
- Guide teams and individuals in using values as the basis for collaboration and problem-solving – even as team size grows.
Module 2: Facilitation & Conflict Management in Complex and Scaled Scrum Environments
Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:
- Structure and facilitate Scrum events and workshops – in complex, potentially cross-team situations.
- Analyse conflicts and group dynamics – including between multiple teams – and select suitable strategies.
- Apply facilitation techniques for decision-making in scaled environments – and assess their effectiveness.
Module 3: Team Dynamics, Self-Organisation & Coaching in Multi-Team Settings
Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:
- Analyse dynamics across teams and groups – and suggest appropriate interventions for collaboration among multiple teams.
- Guide teams and teams-of-teams towards self-organisation – and remove obstacles in a scaled environment.
- Apply coaching and mentoring approaches to multiple teams – and facilitate the development of a shared Definition of Done.
Module 4: Continuous Improvement, Stakeholder Engagement & First Steps in Scaling
Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:
- Design and implement continuous improvement processes and backlog refinement across teams.
- Apply agile metrics and feedback systems for coordination and improvement – across multiple teams.
- Identify and assess stakeholder interests – in more complex, scaled settings – and plan communication processes.
- Explain the basic principles of agile scaling (e.g. coordination, alignment, shared goals) – and initiate the first practical steps towards implementation.
Prerequisites
- QSM-1 certificate (or equivalent prior achievement, e.g. CSM or PSM-I obtained in conjunction with a two-day training)
- 1 year of professional experience as a Scrum Master
